Course Description: As a personal home defense weapon, most would agree that there is no better choice than a shotgun. This course is designed for the individual with little or no shotgun experience to help you learn to use your shotgun safely and effectively. This is a great opportunity for a beginner to ask questions, get answers, and learn in a non-threatening environment. All shotgun ammunition is provided for this class and is included in the tuition. You will learn:

• Features and functions of a shotgun
• Types of shotgun ammunition
• How to select ammunition
• How to clean a shotgun
• Fundamental skills needed to fire a shotgun (stance, grip, sight alignment, etc.)

There will be both classroom and range time in this class. That’s right! Our highly skilled instructors will help you put the classroom knowledge to use on the range giving you the confidence you need to use your shotgun as a home defense weapon.
